Announcements
The Social Committee sponsored the Charleston Village Fall Festival and Halloween Parade on October 26. Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped to make this happen! Everyone looked like they were having fun on the inflatables and rides and in the parade and were enjoying the barbecue and antics of the clown.
If you are interested in helping to plan next year's event, please contact the Social Committee.
Charleston Village held the annual neighborhood garage sale on Saturday, May 10th. What great participation and a great turnout! We look forward to next year's sale!!

It could not have been a more beautiful day for the Easter Bunny to visit Charleston Village for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! The kids enjoyed having him there to help Celebrate! We hope you had as great a time as we did!!
Any feedback on social events is encouraged and welcomed! If you would like to help out with the Social Committee, please let us know. We can always use the help!
Social Committee minutes are posted online. We handle a lot of coordination through e-mail and meet as necessary.
Traditionally, the Social Committee coordinates an Easter Egg Hunt, an opening season Pool Party, one or more neighborhood yardsales, a Fall Festival, a Halloween Parade, and a Toy Drive.
The main event is the Fall Festival, usually with rides and inflatables, games, arts and crafts, great food, music, and more.
With neighborhood support, we have in the past been able to add things like a Multi-Cultural Potluck, a Luau, an Adult Night Out, a Ladies Night Out, a Kids Safety Night, Back to School Bashes, Car Seat Checks, Holiday Caroling, movie nights, and contests for things like best decorated house.
Social Committee members have also successfully started things like the Wine Club and are forming a Welcoming Committee to greet new residents.
All of these events are coordinated and handled by neighbors who devote their own free time and energy. If you would like to join the Social Committee or can volunteer even a small amount of your time, please send email to the Social Committee. Also, if you have any ideas or feedback on events, send them along to us. We are eager to hear from you.
