Charleston Village is home to a diverse community which shares a common concern about the appearance of the community. The Charleston Village Grounds Committee discusses ways to improve or maintain the appearance of Charleston Village.
Announcements
Since the last Grounds Committee meeting the Board of Directors signed the contract to repair the ditch near the Castelburg pond area. Work will start soon.
We are getting revised bids for the gazebo work, to include removal of the railing instead of repairing and painting it.
Grounds Committee Responsibilities
- Monitor and promote the overall appearance of common grounds.
- Monitor the performance of grounds/irrigation contractors.
- Research grounds-related issues for the Charleston Village Board of Directors.
- Make recommendations to the Charleston Village Board of Directors.
- Address concerns of homeowners. Forward issues to the Charleston Village Board of Directors as necessary.
- Provide services that encourage good landscaping and lawn maintenance practices to homeowners.
Grounds Committee Mission Statement
Our mission is to represent, oversee, and promote the common interests of the Charleston Village homeowners through the beautification and maintenance of our community. The committee fosters the credence that the pride we share and our combined efforts to maintain the beauty and preservation of Charleston Village assure a quality of life that we, as a community, can be proud of.
Grounds Committee Meetings
The Grounds Committee has reserved the clubhouse for meetings from 8-9:00 P.M. on the following days. Meetings are open to residents. Minutes are provided when available.
